Parades might be cancelled this year but that doesn’t mean you can’t still celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the same fun and gusto as other years.

To help you enjoy this year’s Saint Patrick’s Day, BetterSleep has added 5 new Celtic-inspired pieces of music by talented composer Jeremy Siegel to be the soundtrack to your day. Now that we’ve set the mood, here are 5 ways you can celebrate this festive day from the comfort of home:

1 - Dress the Part

Get into the spirit of the holiday by wearing anything and everything green! Get your green pants and sweater out from the depths of your closet. If you have some green face paint or eyeliner, draw a lucky four-leaf clover on your cheek. This is fun for the whole family, so make sure to get lots of pictures.

2 - Breakfast of Champions

Start the day off right with a Green Goddess Smoothie. Use kale or spinach, then throw in some of your favorite fruit, add a banana or avocado for creaminess and finish it off with a few splashes of your milk of choice. Blend until smooth and enjoy your delicious St. Paddy’s Day green drink!

If you have little ones running around (or some fun roommates), have a scavenger hunt! Get some treats like chocolate gold coins or shamrock stickers and hide them around your home. Keep it simple by mimicking an Easter egg hunt or add an extra layer of fun with some riddles to help people find the hidden treats!

4 - Take It Online

Spend some quality (virtual) time with your friends. You can keep it simple and low key or add some friendly competition with a trivia night! If you choose the latter, have each participant look up and write down some trivia questions about St. Patrick or Ireland. Then, let the games begin and find out which of your friends has the best trivia skills!

5 - Listen to a Bedtime Story
